In the bylanes of Boulevard Road, this Hotel brings in old rustic charm and warmth of Kashmir with all facilities in the room. Food is very tasty and we had Kashmiri food which was awesome. Sajad Bhat (9419771316) made our stay very comfortable and took our last minute requests of early checkin as well. Hotel has ample parking too.

Was travelling with family and the offer by manager Mr.Sajaf of family room with 2 king size beds was what made us pick this hotel, ofcourse after seeing the earlier reviews and and they way in which Mr.Sajad talked.And after reaching the place, which we checked in at around 10 am, we found it extremely convenient for our family with two kids 14 n 13.. Restaurant offers good food, but as main chef was on leave , I think Mr Abid was running the show all alone and was doing every justice to his job..Overall ,the staff was polite, (MrShahid at front office was so soft spoken and humble ) and helpful.Walisons hotel is a very safe place, very near to dal Lake (50mtrs or so) and offers convenient stay.. Appreciate Mr.Sajad and his team and all the best for future..

The cuisines are very nice with a wonderful decorations , it was worth a bite. Prepared by chief Manzoor. Great hospitality by Abid Hossain. Amazing ambiance. Wonderful at depicting Kashmiri calinary. Worth a visit surrounded greenery.

Location is near dal lake but inside a road so no view. We booked deluxe room and it was very small. Bathrooms are small too. It’s old property. Rooms smell of wood. They don’t serve buffet breakfast instead they give it in room only. Totally disappointed for money paid. Not worth the money spent. There are other really good new hotels in dal to book.

Best place to stay! Rooms were spacious and the services were just great. The manager Mr Sajad took great pains to attend to our needs and comfort. He even planned a trip for us to Pahalgam and back. Location was very close to Ghat No 2 at Dal Lake. Lots of eateries around the area.
